UNU-IASインタビュー「SDGsの変遷と今後への期待」

国連のシンクタンク的機能を持ちつつ、大学院でもある国連大学は、日本に本部を置いている、国連の公式機関です。

2015年に国連サミットで採択された持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）の実行と達成は、国連大学の重要なミッションの一つです。そのSDGsの策定に関わったタスクフォースに唯一日本人として参加した村田俊一氏のインタビュー映像を制作させていただきました。

様々な見方をされているSDGsではありますが、その創始にまつわる話を通じて、少しでも本来の意味での SDGsを多くの人に知っていただき、より良い世界の構築を皆んなで目指せれば幸いです。

The Development of the SDGs and Expectations for the Future — Interview with Shun-ichi Murata

The United Nations University, which has a UN think-tank function but is also a postgraduate school, is an official UN organisation, headquartered in Japan.
The implementation and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted at the UN Summit in 2015 is one of the UN University’s key missions. We produced a video interview with Shunichi Murata, the only Japanese participant in the task force that was involved in the development of the SDGs.

The SDGs are viewed from various perspectives and are currently the subject of many critical opinions. However, we hope that through the story behind the birth of the SDGs, as many people as possible will become aware of it in its original meaning, and that we can all aim to build a better world together.
